BEV undertakes procurement, manufacturing, testing, painting and supply of transformer tanks, including trial assembly of all accessories, for high voltage reactors and inter-connecting transformers (ICT). Tanks are supplied for 110 MVAr to 500 MVA class, up to 765 KV, along with associated components such as yoke clamps.
BEV manufactures and supplies transformer tanks for 110 MVAr, 765 KV Reactors and for 500 MVA, 765 KV, 1-Phase Tapless ICTs, as well as 400/220/33 KV, 3-Phase ICTs, for HVDC including trial assembly of all accessories prior to dispatch.
Associated yoke clamps for 110 MVAr, 765 KV transformers have also been manufactured and supplied. Trial assembly of all accessories is carried out prior to supply, with video documentation of the trial assembly process available for reference. Custom designed jigs and fixtures are used to the full extent to ensure consistent product quality. Testing of tanks include pneumatic test (hydro static test if required by the specifications), vacuum test, leak test and complete trial assembly of all accessories. BEV has a grit blasting room of size 15 M (L) x 8 M (W) x 8 M (H) built to Euro III norms with all interlocks and protections. BEV also has a ATEX compliant Spray Painting Room of size 14 M (L) x 7 M (W) x 8 M (H) with infrared heaters.
